Hi all, im just back from a mini, tour, trip down to the Millau Bridge in southern france on the A75 autoroute.... in my 500 1.3 diesel Sport.... Lovely ride down there, went through the Euro Tunnel going and the P&O ferry for return. Averaged 69mpg according to the dash reading. Was 1,800mile round trip. I noticed diesel in france is 1.10 ish Euro per litre.... About £1.10 ish in our money. But the tolls on the Autoroutes are very expensive, 20/30 Euro per stop at the toll boothes!! but the French Autoroutes are very smooth and clean compaired to ours... Just be carefull with the narrow lanes at the booths, I caught my left front wheel on something, didnt see the mark till I washed her yesterday... The payment or ticket collection is on the left side of the car, as I travelled alone. So I had to reach through the passenger window. Any way! what a cracking bridge!, tallest vehicle bridge in the world. Plenty of viewing areas also... Cost 6 Euro one way to go over it. I must say the drivers seat in the sport 500 isnt very comfy on a long haul.... My bottom kept going through the hole in the seat, with the seat lowering only on the rear... and the steering wheel lack of reach adjustment is a problem for my arms... stretching needed... Couldnt fault the engine tho...Top class.... Thanks.....
