I wouldn't be too worried. I ordered first or second week of April and only a couple of weeks ago found out my car was in production and then this weekend found out that it's in transit to the UK.Do you mind me asking when you ordered? I ordered on 6th May and am still waiting for news

Called my dealer yesterday, and he got back to me saying that it should be with them in 2 weeks!!

The scrappage scheme means that it works out cheaper for me to get a 500 then it is to run my old 1998 VW Passat for the next 3 years - crazy but true. I know which I would prefer, and certainly which my wife would as well!
It is far more stylish!

We ordered on the 25th of April.
Just spoken to the dealer and it looks like we're ready for collection next week - a total of only 9 weeks after order and 3 weeks earlier than quoted, so maybe good news for all you lot who were quoted 12-14 weeks delivery!
all depends on what the dealer already has allocated to them and what is unsold and the spec is changeable on - 12 weeks is the norm, but if they have one on the system unsold and spec changeable for an earlier build week then they book the order against that slot.
i hope i get mine in only 9 weeks !! that's pretty good. the thought of waiting right round till september is killing me. i was quoted 12 weeks.
This was a new factory order with quite a few mods (16" Wheels, special paint, stripes etc), but placed just before the full details of the scrappage scheme was announced!
