Still waiting for my lounge 500 to turn up, but am trying to get a rear spoiler for it, i was wondering if the abarth spoiler is the same size as the one you get from fiat or are they bigger?
also does anyone know where i'd be able to get one from?
thanks

Worth doing a trawl of the scrappies, theres bound to be one in there shortly, just hope that it hasnt been rolled.
If you find one PLEASE let me know as I want a wheel off of one. We are doing a long european trip in a few weeks & I really want to have a spare wheel. With over 3000 miles in a week I dont want to spend 1/2 a day getting a puncture fixed

The Abarth one is much bigger, you techincally should be able to order the unpainted item from your nearest Abarth dealer (although body work items seem to be on hold from Italy atm). However it might look stupid without the rest of the body kit. The normal 500 one does look great though, Mark Elvin put one on his recently and popped some pics up. Looked mint.

This one on ebay was previously £89 IIRC so has jumped a bit but he will take an offer. It will still need painting and bonding to the tailgate though which is gonna cost more, these options are much cheaper when specified for factory fit but that's a little too late I guess?

cheers for the replies people, fiat told me that i could order one when i brought the car, but the price was still unpainted and not fitted because it was for the lounge and not the sport
i might still phone abarth to see what the price is

This was the reason I ordered a sport, as I really wanted a spoiler, and did not want to have to get it sprayed and risk it being a slightly different shade. It seems a little unncessasary to make it so complicated, when so many other things can be factory fit, but I'm sure there is a reason as far as the manufacturers are concerned. I like the tints option anyhow on the sport, but for those who arnt so keen, it must be a bit of a quandry as to forgo the spoiler because of the tinting.

the reason we went for the lounge was because my other half liked the ivory dash and steering wheel, where as on the sport you could only get the black, so this is why i have to buy the spoiler afterwards, which isnt a problem because my dad sprays for a living :D, but i did pay extra for the blacked out back windows as they looked nice (y)

i think i have decided to go with the standard spoiler for my car after all, like olopboy suggested it might look abit strange without the rest of the body kit :),

in all honesty the abarth one isnt much bigger i will measer mine tommorow if an abarth owner could measure aswell if we do the measurement on the center of the spoiler (inline with the ariel) to the edge of the spoiler starting right on the edge of the boot lid ill do it tommorow and photo where i measured from / to

Right measured the spoiler i put the tape measure in the groove of the boot lid inline with the ariel the measurement at furthest overhang point is just under 10 inches or to be exact it's 250mm, now we need an abarth's measurement's please
