Cleaning Sports Seats

I know this is technically a car care question, but its specifically related to the seats in the 500 Sport model, which I have.

Whats the best thing to clean them with? I've been giving them just a simple wipe down, but I want to give them a proper clean, as they do seem to pick up all sorts of 'film' (no jokes please!). I dont know whether leather cleaner like I use on my sofa is appropriate for the standard sports seats? Also, what to clean the middle section with?

Tango Tim did suggest something a few weeks ago when I called in, but I cant remember what, and I need to clean them before this weekend, but wont be able to get to Tim's garage before then. I think he also said it had a fragrance, and I'd rather something unfragranced. I dont ask for much do I!

Tim? Mark? Anyone?

Re: Cleaning Sports Seats

On the sports seats I have used the following.

Fabric.

Dry vac, then apply a decent fabric shampoo with a soft brush or a cloth, agitating well, followed by a good session with the vax with just clean water in to extract the shampoo.

Leather.

I use leather cleaner from The Leather Clinic, it's superb.

Re: Cleaning Sports Seats

Is that available to mere mortals like me, or is it some pro stuff? Is there anything I can get my hands on off-the-shelf this week?

Rob, you're not that far from Mark, if you drive past his house and his garage door is open then I'm sure that there will be lots of stuff on one of his shelves.
