It looks great pixie, I always thought the colour looked a bit purplish anyway! Funny, when I saw your first pic I thought they had started doing grey leather seats! But obviously its only the picture being a bit washed out inside... bet it looks good with the black. See you have the proper 500 mats too! Let us know how it goes with the fruit pastille stain!

I'm picking my car up tomorrow and I'm unsure of something... Its from a Glyn Hopkin dealership and they give 7 day free insurance cover. Does this mean I have to not worry about giving proof of insurance, or should I sort out and buy insurance cover to start from tomorrow and then give them the cover note. Or buy it to start from the day the 7 days free is up?

With the free insurance I had to ring up the company (it's aviva/norwich union isn't it?) and go through as though I was getting proper insurance, then said no, I just wanted the 7 day and they sent the cover note to the dealer. If you get your insurance to start from say, the day before your 7 days runs out then you'll be all set
I didn't have to show them my proper insurance cover note. Does that make sense?

yea i got the mats thrown in free (along with key covers)
they gonna have their people try to clean it, and if it doesnt come off get me a new seat! it will prob be friday before i can get her back to autoworld, but they will lend me one for the day

right,
my mum took my car back to autoworld today for them to have a go at cleaning the seat (it doesnt open until after we are both at work, and today was the first day she had had off to take it!)
The seat is wet but looks clean, they have said if the mark comes back, to take it back to them! they have also got a stone chip out from near the back wheel and cleaned up my wheel (it was really greasy) and hoovered the front!
I'll get a pic of the seat 2moro (when i'm not hiding from the world, full of cold), and put it up with a before one
Also like to say that Autoworld have been pretty awesome with the whole thing
