General Get you home lights

A year into ownership, and I've just found them.

Really should read the manual.

So, how do they work? Do you have to press something or set them up?
Do they go on when you lock the car?

(Havent got my 500 yet so trying to find out all about it before I get to play with mine!);)

to turn them on when you have turned off the ignition and taken keys out you pull the headlamp flash 1 pull = 30sec's 2 = 60 etc etc,(it tells you on the dash how long you have chosen) i'm using them less now as the night's arn't as dark as early but over winter used them loads

Thats it.

I have struggled all winter as there is no natural or street lighting where I live, so when I get home in the dark I have to fumble for the door lock.

Not now, and spring is coming, pah.

My car keeps surprising me ... first I found out by accident I had heated wing mirrors, then hill hold when the car didn't roll back the other day .... and now follow me home lights?!! Hubbie says I really outta read the manual but I said it's lovely to be surprised, a bit like when you pick up a top in New Look and when you get to the till it's ten quid cheaper :)

I get that all the time, makes my day :ROFLMAO:

I'm forever using this on my mk3 Panda, just because I can. Now does the 500 do this;

On the Panda if you put the parking lights on and then use the indicator stalk to indicate left or right, just the left or right parking lights illuminate ;) (y)

Jon.
Or leave it in the middle to keep them both on! They stay on all night though, did it for 12 hours and car still started in the morning, slow turnover but still fired up!

no the 500 won't do this (n) you can put the sidelight's on when parked but not select a side.

Lol, that's why out only leave the one side lit, uses half of the power :p
