You're taking it on the track with 17's? I thought my tyre habit was out of control :D

For comparions sake, this is my 500 on 15"s last friday. I love the look of the 17"s on Robs but I recoil in horror at the thought of the tyre bills :)

A picture of yours at the same angle Rob, that's what we need. I wanna see how it looks on full load powering out of a corner. :D

What's the weight of the Compomotives you've got? Are they substantially lighter than the standard wheels? I think my track wheels are about 6kgs vs the 9.something kilos of the road wheels.

will see what i can do, i am interested to see how it goes - i might have to raise the rideheight a bit...

regarding tyres, 17" aren't that much more expensive;)
it's the 16"s that are an expensive option with minimal choice

205/40-17

Yoko A539 £70 a corner

Toyo R888 £105 a corner

205/45-16"

Yoko Parada £80

195/50-15"

Toyo R888 £80 a corner

Yoko Parada £40

I think your choice is very good though.(y)

17" 205/40's in R888 run something like £125 a corner. Ouchy. I could almost insure my beast for a year for that kind of money :)
