General Spot The Difference.....

Stance looks absolutely spot on. You've got me thinking about modding and I haven't even got mine yet!

One question - did you investigate any potential warranty issues? Or are you planning to swap back each time you take it in for a service:D

Nah, I'll leave them on, most garages are ok about it in my experiance, at worst it'll only bee dampers/bushes that are not covered.

£50 cash sounds like a deal. :D Gonna check with my dealer, how it affects the warranty exactly, order the springs, then find someone to fit them. (That's if there's no major change in the car's cover).

Very nice, love the stance.

I'd be more bothered about the insurance and any GAP insurance when making mods like this though. Don't they have some clause about non-factory modifications? I know I have to declare my lowering mods on my old Beetle and it does make a difference to the premium. I normally manage to offset it by pointing out that I have converted the front brakes from drums to discs so the car is safer.

£20 per year extra for suspension mods.

Next on the list........ £££bargain rear spoiler from EBAY!!!!!!

As proud owners, present, or future of the lovely Fiat 500, we have got to remember that the 500, in Pop, Sport or Lounge are very stylish and cute but basic city run a bouts, at home in a city near you... My point is the suspension, ride height and shocks are set for purpose. Why change it? They really do look spot on as they are coming out of the factory in my opinion... thanks....;)

Because......

1. As standard the suspension is too bouncy, many owners & the worlds motoring press have complained about this. Now mine is better.

2. As standard the wheels are not concentric with the arches, now they are.

Correctamundo (y)

all i'm waiting for now is the "winter" period to be over so i can put my alloys on for the first time.

Very tempted to drop the suspension on mine but I'm worried the body kit will make it a little too low ... time to get the ruler out :)

I'm also considering, but have the same issue. :p I get my car within the week so I'll have a measure up myself. Any info on the results will definitely be useful. If not I'll just get 'em fitted and hope its, at least, a slightly sensible idea.
