Just about clocked 18000 miles and heading for first service. Average MPG is 40.2 at the moment.
I also had bad fuel consumption that day at Bedford. I followed you a couple of times - that 500 looked great fun. I managed between 5 and 6 mpg. But then I was driving a 911 GT2
Did we talk about a Fiat Panda at lunch? Or am I confusing my Porsche drivers?
Come over next time. I'll happily let you loose in the 500 for a few laps in return for the same with the Porsche
No thanks, I'll be using my Integrale next time out - I get 30mpg out of that on the motorway (and about 10 on a trackday). There's a red 944 for sale around the corner for £900. Go you halves in a track day porsche
My 1.2 after 1000 miles......According to the computer about 53mpg if I drive it very carefully (ECODRIVE still tells me I could do better!)
Mid 40's if I drive like normal traffic.
Mostly mixed roads commute.
Heaven knows how they achieve the manufacturer's figures.
What I haven't done yet is work out how optimistic the computer is.

1.2 SPORT
best on the longer trips of 53, worst sat in traffic mid 40s.
how do Fiat ever get the claimed mpg!
