Picked it up from Rockingham cars this afternoon and it's fantastic. I wanted Funk white on my original 500 but it wasn't available at launch so deciding the colour this time round was easy :D The ride quality is vastly superior on the 17" wheels on the Abarth than my Lounge was on 16" wheels. You can really feel the turbo kick in and it reminds me of the Uno turbo I owned a long time ago.

nebrog,

It is the turbo boost guage but it doesn't get in the way.

Mark,

Thanks for the kind offer but I'm a bit of a compulsive car cleaner myself and have got so many cleaning products/waxes etc (including a Porter Cable) it's ridiculous :D

The big question is how much was it?

I'm glad to see your collection gets the care it deserves.(y)

If you'd seen the state my Scuderia arrived in you'd have been appalled. I had to machine polish 80% of it to get rid of fine scratches (n)

Thats the nicest Abarth Ive seen yet, does look good in FW with red leather:) I still wish it had ivory ambience though:(

Thanks Nuova. I loved the ivory ambience in my lounge but everything in the Abarth is black - dash, door plastics, carpets and roof lining. The ivory ambience wouldn't really look right to be honest.

Well, it looked fine on original Abarth 500s:) With the black the dash looks dis-jointed in the middle, still I guess you are looking at the road a bit more in an Abarth, interesting it seems to ride better than the standard 500, must be the Ford KA suspension?
