And the Hi-Fi upgrade doesn't appear to be available.

Not sure why people are so negative about it. It can be turned off. You can buy a 1.2 without it. So it'll only be used by people who really want it. I would suspect that if you usually drive in busy town traffic it would be a good idea.

Any ways of making cars cleaner without spoiling the fun of driving them must be a good idea....

The Start&Stop is based on the Lounge (as it clearly states in the second line of that release!) so has Air Conditioning as standard.

The differences between a 'normal' Lounge and the Start&Stop are thet the Start&Stop does not have the fixed glass roof as standard, comes with Pop upholstery, and comes with the 15" 9 U-Spoke Alloy Wheels as standard as opposed to the 15" Multispoke Alloys.

Thanks. I had no idea there was a Pop Lounge, I just thought it was the basic stripped out version with steel wheels, no steering wheel control buttons and plakky hubcaps. Now I've looked again and seen it's the Lounge Lounge, with the Pop interior - phew! The lack of a glass roof is, for me anyway, a bonus (y).

So perhaps not so bad after all, but they need to get the CO2 below 100.

I'm thinking all this gradually introduced technology is in preparation for the new engines and all their ancillary integrated gubbins in two years. Test beds so to speak.
