When i get my 500,i want to play music through a usb stick in the car,does anyone know what files it can play?also most of my music is bought or imported onto itunes,does the system in the car play these files that itunes use or do i need to convert them?if so how do i convert them?

no, I pod is apple, your car uses windows so you need to convert them to MP3. This info is freely available on this and the official Fiat site. Conversion software is also freely available on the web.

you should not need conversion software - itunes will convert files to mp3. Exception is those files downloaded directly from itunes rather than from your own CDs. Google your "how to" question and lots of replies come up - ignore the ones who want to sell you something!

You need to save downloaded tunes as mp3 (easy from iTunes).

Ah but then all you do is burn to a CD, and then import back in as an MP3

It plays WMA files as well.
