your phone is not compatible with the text reader, hardly any phones are!! The most compatible are Sony Ericcson, take a look in the Blue and Me forum for more info

The MTD has an anti stall setting so if you start the car in gear, even with the handbrake on, it will set off. Its strong enough to drag the back wheels.

Hence the warning in the handbook.

As an aside, you must be the first person to read a handbook.

Booklady I have looked on Blue and me. Just wondered if there was a way of fixing it for the texts as I use them a lot. It does seem a lot of people have problems with text messages too

I don't beleive so Eve, that model phone is not compatible with blue and me text - I have the same phone and did a lot of research. Nearly got a SE for the messaging but prefer samsung phones, so decided I could forgo that function, after all it can read them to you, but you can't reply can you!

That's why I nearly got the SE phone!! I wanted to have the function, even though I knew I didn't really NEED it!! Had no problems with the G600 and I love it coz it's purple

My samsung is purple too! Because its my fav colour I nearly went for the Panda Mamy but didnt like the test drive, felt unsupported in the seat although a bit more practical than 500, not my cup of tea.
How do you do the quote on the message? I did it once but cant find it now!

I've got the sony ericsson that is compatible - the walkman one. I'd definitely recommend - the text reading thing is GREAT!

I have only had my samsung for 4 months so cant really justify buying another. Had to buy the new car as my renault was written off,(not my fault) Because it was 6 years old the insurance wouldnt pay the cost of repair
