wow i wasn't expecting so many replies on my first post! what a great bunch you are!!

Thanks for all your comments,i'm 99.9% sure i'm gonna order one, have always loved the look of the car ever since it came out but had only just bought a new corsa which i love but is a bit of a slug and guzzles fuel!!

I know all cars have rattles at some point and after a year or so it wont bother me-well as long as you cant hear it over the sound system that is!

I'm gonna book another test drive for saturday and also test drive the ka as i want to see what this huge improvement in the ride and handling is.

I'm also stuck on which colour to get! I like the black and also the cha cha azure but i'm now staring to like the funk white!! decisions decisions.....

Oh now youve mentioned the funk white youll get heidi et al gushing for about half a dozen posts! Must say it just to placate them it does look spesh tho! Ive got the bossa nova white, with red sport stripe and 2 tone alloys, looks really good but it gets mucky mega quick! Its a breeze to wash tho and its nice to lavish some attention on it! I particlularly like running my sheepskin mitt over the chrome wing mirrors and round the edge of the headlights mmm

ive had several fiats over the years and none of them have been massively rattley, as far as I can recall. Seem to remember my tipo 1.4 had quite a lot of road noise, but my cinquecento wasnt bad, in fact the noise from the back end of my current 500 reminds me of how the cinqy used to sound with the parcel shelf taken out. Also most of the problem ones ive had have been older ones that were not owned from new or nearly new by me, so you dont know the history. Ive found if you have them from newish and keep them serviced they r ok. Im considering sticking a bit of sound proofing under the carpet in the back, just to see what difference it makes, maybe when the weather warms up a bit!

BNW, excellent choice, of course you will now have notts gushing about the colour. :ROFLMAO:

Oh my god! Bossa nova white!!! Its F A B U L O U S!!!!!

Actually I love it, it fits the car perfectly, you see it in a car park and if its clean it just glows out like its radioactive. Its slightly creamy which warms the colour up slightly. Set it off with red detailing and its TDF.
Im thinking of changing my name to Mr Bossa Nova White. I love it that much.

And it cost me nowt extra, which to a Yorkshireman means a lot.

And thats the truth.

:D

Very funny notts ha ha ha. But seriously actually I like both BNW and FW .... but being a posh southerner I had to have the FW! :ROFLMAO:

FW is lovely I have to admit, I am too tight to pay the extra, but if I had to choose between spending on leather, interscope or funk white, the paint job would win hands down everytime

Try and see a few other colours, the look fab in every one!!! There are some pics on the gallery of a recent meet we had and there are several different colours on display (not FW though, coz Heidi was sitting on santas knee so couldn't join us :D ) https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=2048

also don't pay any attention to the 2 Jive blue or Calypso Orange, they have been discontinued!

LOL, one very careful owner but two careless morons who tried to kill it:)
Mind you, the bodyshop guy said even the two little bumps were nothing more than cosmetics... as he pointed out various wrecks in the compound!
£8750 and its yours:)

what we should actually be sure to mention is that your little car had only cosmetic damage, whilst the nissan was mashed!

Ye Ye green looks great too with a white sports stripe! there was one in the dealers, I would have been tempted had not not been a pop and I wanted a lounge!

and you southerners think youre good just coz youve got all the money and all weve got up here is mud and whippets.

(please please dont be offended Im only joking really) :D

Admit it... you're a Frenchie arent you Tony? IF thats your real name... Antoine! :ROFLMAO:

And I was going to put you up in March and/or April, look at the insults I'm getting now neither of us can attend the IOW meet, you just wait 'til 2010. :ROFLMAO:

I used to say to people; "you can call me anything BUT don't call me late for dinnner" but now I'm adding that you can't call me ANTOINE. He! He!

Yes and the offer was greatly appreciated and I was looking forward to it! I shall keep a completely clear diary for the first 6 months of 2010 just in case!

I just thought that ivory, green, red and black inside the car would be a bit too much colour. if it didn't have the green on the dashboard I think it would have been okay. It looked lovely with the cloth seats, they were sort of cream/green flecks (the one i saw in london). Thought about the vintage leather but again I thought just a bit too much colour that was so different (your calypso orange looks right with the vintage leather but not sure about the green) ...... one of those "you'd have to see it before ordering" situations I think, which is nigh on impossible with the amount of personalisable options.

I wanted YeYe Green after I saw one in London but hubbie steered me towards FW after pointing out that the red leather seats would look awful with the colour and I had my heart set on those colour seats.

i agree the white/red leather combo is cool, i think the green one i saw had black leather and black ambience, looked really good. i like the 2 tone pop seats, if i could have had them in the lounge in red cloth/ivory vinyl i wouldnt have got the leather to be honest. But Im glad I have it, they look mint. I like my white red theme, when the weather warms up i think im gonna get some black mats with red leather effect piping. and i have a red and white USB stick. Yes if you cut off the top of my head it would say SAD all the way thru like a stick of blackpool rock :ROFLMAO:
