Washed and polished the 500 today and noticed the drivers side headlamp was a bit loose, when I checked the plastic upper bracket was broken, looks like a complete new headlamp required, will call the dealer tomorrow and claim under warranty, I think it came out of the factory like that.

Anyone else had this problem?

How long you had the car?

I think Kernow picked up the car just after our get together, so late December.

How is the car otherwise?

Apart from the head light, in the 3 weeks and 700 miles we've had it, it's been brilliant, one thing I have noticed though is how easy the red leather seats get dirty!! Nothing a bit of leather cleaner and conditioner won't fix though.

I think our only real complaint from both the Wife and I is the position of the accelerator pedal, could have been a little lower!

Many Fiats have higher pedals than other cars, youll get used to it

Why have flappy paddle when you have flappy feet!!! And much much much cheaper than the system in Ferrari

The red leather seats - i've bought some leather wipes from poundland lol and i wipe them down with that ... i usually get black on the bit by the door, think where i have to slide in sometimes when parked next to other cars and it must come off my jeans.

Ive used the same wipes on mine, very good if you get water marks on them and also they dont leave the leather shiny. I have bought some autoglym leather cream tho too but Im gonna test it first to make sure it doesnt make my leather shiny so it looks like a SCS sofa

I've always used baby wipes in the past on leather, always does the job for me!

Ive got the autoglym leather conditioner, makes the seats look lovely
Having the tan (brown) leather means dirt doesnt show

As far as the leather goes I'd use either Gliptone products.....

Larry went in to have the headlamp replaced under warranty yesterday only to find the replacement was broken too!!

Now re-scheduled for next week.

I havent got that problem, although boyfriend spotted some condensation in the rear lights

Anyone else had or have that problem? :shrug:
