I saw a Funk white in Nottingham yesterday and the colour really isn’t done justice by any of the promotional stuff I've seen. In the flesh it looks great. When I saw the colour compared to BN white in the dealers brochure it didn’t look different enough to warrant the extra £700. Im still not sure it’s worth £700 but it’s definitely a sweet colour.

Totally agree - i personally wasn't convinced about the colour until hubbie persuaded the sales guy to take us to their compound to see a FW they had in for a customer and I realised that it was the colour i wanted, and i haven't regretted it.

Although i'm quite pleased the promo stuff doesn't do it justice - don't want too many of them around lol

I love the funk white colour. Pearl white is never fully appreciated until you see it in the flesh.

Nightmare colour to match or repair though to a high standard.

apparently it was easier to match than my orange:)

Is that the reason we STILL haven't seen any photos of your side mouldings? Just kidding, I know you said that the eventual result was good. Just as an aside though, your photo gallery seems entirely devoid of any 500 pics which I am certain is tantamount to heresy. "BRING ON THE WALL" :D

I have a funk white sport and i love it! Nearly up to 600 miles now!! Whooo!

You guys that have had work done to the paint - can you elaborate, as my other half...... scr...at..ched.. (i cant say it!) the back wheel arch, and i want it repaired! This is great news - i thought i would have to have the whole panel re-sprayed ?

How much did your cost and what did it involve ? any info would be much appreciateed!

Mine was scratched before I received it so it was fixed free of charge so i can't give you any advice on costs.

BUT it was a deep gouge in the paintwork on the front wing and was about 1-2inches long in a V shape and I can honestly say I can't pinpoint where it was now. I tried to take a picture but because of the pearly paint it wouldn't come out.

The garage i used was westover in bournemouth, they supplied the car and they have an accident bodyshop (at least i think it's an accident one - no douby Barry or Grim will put me straight if i'm wrong) so if you fancy a trip to bournemouth to get it looked at I definitely recommend them for funk white. :)

I am pretty certain that you will need the whole panel resrayed bearing in mind the colour. Most paint shops now don't do local/spot repairs, even on solid colours. The mobile guys such as chips away or an independent might possibly be able to help you but how good the results would be are intangible.

Go for the proper job and know that you will not be regretting it each time you look at the car and possibly see where the repair has been carried out. .... You know it makes sense.

I like the colour, saw one at the Good Food Show (What Fiat were doing with a stand there I've no idea) in Funk White and it certainly stood out, and was gathering a small crowd.

But it's not for me, it looks too feminine! It's like a glittery car under the sun!

You answered your own question there - sounds like good marketing with no competition at that show. Only car there and gathering a crowd.

What on earth is a TRT etc... would that be a monitor? If so its still my trusty 1998 IBM classic!:)

Dont forget, Im 40 and we didnt have puters at our school and apart from the NET I have no real interest in learning stuff about them, rather be driving my car to events and places and riding my scoots:)

I suppose that does make sense! When I was stood looking around at the leather interior, the woman on the stand came over and asked me if I liked the car. I just replied with "Yup, already got one!" then we had a nice little conversation about them. :)
