I LOVE RED CARS - so, I have a white 500???!!!

I saw the first pictures of white with Italian stripes and that was that.
The red came in the form of the leather interior.

However, I do think Littlala's Bepe is GORGEOUS and wish I have been brave enough to choose that combination ..... or a red Pop with red/ivory and steel wheels ... or Ye Ye Lounge ... doh!!!!

Looked at having the white but am now glad I wnt for the 'funky' yellow....not so many around,in fact I havent seen another yellow one on the road yet but have seen lots of white, chacha and red, the only other ones I havent seen are yeye and mod blue!

My original order was for white one, but I thought about all the cleaning, chickened out and went for mod blue... Didn't regret it although I think the white is really nice as well

So true! AND white does 'reward' you as much as colour does after a good wash and polish.

Oddly, I found my old white car didn't show up dirt so much. Black on the other hand!

Mod blue is really nice IMO, far better in the flesh than the brochure suggests.

I chose white because (in my opinion) it looks the best of all the colours, it's the most authentic of all the colours and my dad used to drive an original 500 in the same colour. A touch of nostalgia perhaps but it doesn't take anything away from my car looking bloody cool

Mine worked itself out. I wanted the ivory interior, but I didn't think it would look good with white cos they too close. I wasn't prepared to spend on a colour -so I got "Doom" Jive Blue, which looks great inside, with blue interior. It also looks authentically retro outside. BTW i believe the trade "Doom blue" is a much darker shade. I do however appear to be in a minority coming up with this conclusion. White does look great on the outside, but I'm the one inside the car.

Same with many of the colours.

When we ordered there were only the three sample colours to see in the flesh - red, white & cha cha.

I would not have ordered another colour without having seen it first.

I have to say, that when I was at the 'AutoItalia' at Gaydon, I saw many of the colours for the first time in the flesh. They all looked good, and it may have changed my spec armed with this knowledge. BUT, I don't have any regrets.

They all look great though, don't they ?

All the FIAT concepts and publicity shots where of white cars before the 2007 launch so it's the preferred publicity colour.
If FIAT think it looks good in white and they make it then.... hehe

I wonder if thats why there are so many reds and cha chas too, because they were the only colours you could see for quite some time?
Would be nice to see some more in the other colours though, just for a change!

TBH, I think the silver is the only colour that don't suit the 500. I don't know why, but it just looks slightly wrong...

Feeew! Thank goodness for that! Seriously, we all have different tastes and it is so good of Fiat to oblige us all with half a millon combinations! Enjoy the car mate!!!
