Started using my DRL's for the first time now that the weathers changing and the dull mornings are here.
Noticed very quickly that the engine was very laboured on tick over, and sounded very strained on accelleration, between gear changes there was quite a jolt as the revs hit the floor before the the clutch was released.

Turn on the head lights so the DRLs go out - smooth and quick again :)- turn off the headlights - dog rough.:(

whats going on???

:idea:think i'll leave the DRL's alone.

That doen't sound good does it?
Have seen older cars in the cold struggle at idle when something like the heated rear window is switched on but not glorified side-lights.

They're not glorified sidelight though, those DRL's on the 500 to throw out some power, but less than the headlights, so it dosen't make sence at all.

Back to the dealership me thinks, dosen't sound good at all!

Jon.
