Well guys - if my cover note arrives in the post tomorrow, as planned, I will be the proud, happy and ECSTATIC owner of a Fiat 500 tomorrow afternoon.

I don't know what's making more nervous; The thought of picking up my beautiful new car, or waiting for the Postie to drop the DirectLine envelope on the door mat in the morning

I REALLY hope I can post on here tomorrow that my little Pop is sitting on my drive.

I too am expecting delivery tomorrow after a long wait.
Had a false start today when insurance cert failed to arrive at dealers on time but assured ready to go for tomorrow.

Well, another day passes and still no 500.
Can you believe that they noticed just as they were about to deliver it that it had 2 blue and 2 black of the 500 discs that sit in the middle of the wheel!
What the f*** happened to PDI?
Apparently due tomorrow, if the parts arrive - I am not holding my breath.
The only bit that cheered me up was when they sheepishly asked if I would split the difference on the deficit between what they offered for pX based on July delivery and now - 175 each. Having thought about it for oh... a nanosecond I decided to stick with the agreement we made in April.

Hi guys

Rather annoyingly my insurance company (because of their total incompitence) failed to send out my new insurance certificate which I only found out about after contacting them to see where it was.

So, that put pay to collecting the car today. Ironically I phoned to tell the dealer that I would take collection tomorrow (after driving to Manchester to collect my insurance documents PERSONALLY) and he let slip that my alloy wheels hadn't arrived yet so even if I had taken delivery today it would've had the steels still on it. He said he would've suggested "popping back" to then have the alloys fitted.
I politely advised him that it was just as well my insurance wasn't sorted today because I'm not driving the car away without the alloy wheels I have ordered, some three or even four weeks ago!

Many other, non-fiat or car related things have gone terribly wrong today, so I'm working on the principle that it was not meant to be and tomorrow will be a much, MUCH better day.

I hope I can eventually say: "I OWN A 500!", tomorrow

there aren't blue ones all fiat emblems on 500s are red in the wheels are they not

i wonder what's really up with the car why they stalling

or am i just being silly

infact i'm sure there not even red ones there silver black and kind of afrasite on all except sport that have red ring

on both alloys and trims

i bet your right - I still didn't get the car today either!
Apparently the correct coloured discs (?) didn't turn up till 3pm. Promised for tomorrow - we shall see.
