Glad you got a result there in the end Jodie, btw what Beetle did you have? I know they get a lot of stick but I prefer them to the new Mini.

I have a 1.6 Beetle and i loooooooooooooooooooooove it so much, the only reason im getting rid is the bloody tax & pertol prices are going up every other week, so i cant really afford to keep her anymore :bang:
We have a Nissan 350z also, but my other half cant bring himself to part with his pride and joy yet

Well after sooooooooooooooo much confusion, it's all over, the 500 is coming today!!
My other half is picking it up as the dealer is right next to where he works (and i cant get time off to pick her up).
I'm so excited - i cant wait, i was quite sad to see the Beetle go, until a piece of plastic fell of the steering wheel this morning
Roll on tonight!! :slayer:

Well I'm sitting in the office pouting cause i want to be outside driving my little Bella around - cant wait for my day off Thursday.
I'm so impressed with her. The only problem is, I'm nervous about scratching my alloys so I'm parked 3 miles from the pavement

On my way to the car for my lunch - i noticed the stupid milk man had stuck a magnet advertising his business on the back of my car!! How p*ssed off was i!! :bang:
Will be having a word with him the next time i see him

Congrats on your new car! (y) (we're parking miles out from the kerb too;))

Thank you (y)
I had more drama today - i was happy enough in the office when one of my colleagues came in and told me to go and check my car as there was a trailer really close to my car and it was moving in the wind  (it was so close that she thought it was attached to my car!!)
Anyways i go out there an sure enough, there it was, a trailer about an inch and a half away from my bumper moving in the wind!! I couldnt move her fast enough!!
Wish i could fold her up and keep her in my bag, away from all these silly people

I often envy all these people who don't give a stuff about parking close, opening doors, etc. They must live to be a lot older than us from lack of stress.....

It must be in our genes, even my 10 year old lad opens doors with his fingers around the leading edge so as not to damage other cars....

I think a lot of it has to do with respect and manners! So you've obviously bought your son up properly (y)
You have a point though, i cant help but stress about our cars, we work so hard for them, what gives other people the right to spoil them!

Parking in public places is one of the stressful experiences ever, I'm forever checking my doors for dinks. I'm going to be so much worse with the 500... early grave for me I guess :)

I think it's just the state of society today, people don't respect other people's property at all. It's a real shame.
