Hi

We picked up our 500 on Thursday, 18th Sept 2008, afternoon.
I've used to go to work a couple of times and found it does a reasonable MPG so far.

Why Humphrey?

My youngest son came into the kitchen, after having a look around the car, and exclaimed to my wife, " It's bogey colour ".

I suppose we could have gone for Fungus, but we both made the connection with Humphrey Bogart so it seems to have stuck.

I'm quite pleased with the choice of colour etc, while on the way home from work for the second time saw another ye ye going in the other direction.


The only thing I may talk to the dealer about is the difference in shade between the metal bonnet and the plastic bumper, I'll put up pictures so you can see .

When I get mine, I'll call it 500 , like James Bond is called 007, mine will be code named 500 .

Nor me.

Start a thread in members motors, and use the add attatchment feature to put the pics on the thread
Then, it will be added to the members 500s thread at the top and youll be famous
Re your bumper, all the 500s have a slightly different shade on the bumpers, its not much but its there.

I went through the "My Photos" link, it did struggle but looked like it worked.
anyway I'll try again tonight.

Congratulations, you have a really nice looking car, love the colour combo, I wasn't that fond of ye ye green to start with but I've grown to love it!

Thats the first time i've seen those colours and it looks really nice. Those tan leather seats work a treat!
