Yesterday was the first sunny Autumn day we've had in Kent. It was superb and brought 500s out in droves round here. I can only think that the owners love them so much they keep them garaged when the weather is wet
Interestingly, nearly every owner gave me a wave or flashed their lights as they went past. . Have looked in the handbook and there's no mention of this being a requirement when driving a 500 but it's a really nice thing and would be brilliant if it caught on nationally.
I've had nearly 40 different cars in my driving life and have never experienced anything like this before. It's like we all belong to some unspoken elite club! About 60% of the drivers were female - what a brilliant chat up opening - shame I'm not 20 years younger.
The other interesting thing is that twice now, I've parked in large car parks only to come back and find that out of all the other empty spaces, another 500 has been parked next to mine and lined up perfectly. Is this some sort of herding instinct kicking in.
Anyone else has similar experiences?
