Go on then .......................how

Ive not exactly got the largest of hands but i would need to be about 12 with the strength of Giant Haystacks to get the holders out.

I cant even get to grips with either bulb housing any suggestions..........apart from employing a dwarf(no im not dwarfist}

Actually try rather than thinking that the problem might be the same without trying.

What does it say to do in the car's handbook:confused:

I hope it's not another Megane like design fault :p

Fiat tech guy who gave us the guided tour of the 500 pointed out the hatch to us. He explained that it had been designed so that changing bulbs was a doddle. He even cracked a joke about the Stilos after it.

He made it sound really simple.
Quite a few guys have changed bulbs so one of them will be better equipped to answer.

I bought some Osram Night-Breaker +90% (H1 and H7) and just wanted to ask if they were easy to change.

Exactly the point of being a forum member, asking questions and getting answers from others who have done the job. At the end of the day (I hate cliches but....) you only get a handbook with the car, not a workshop manual and the techs on here will almost certainly found a better/quicker way of doing a job than the recommended procedure. My hubbie lurks on that site, but never posts, only gets info!

I used it a lot when I 1st got the Civic 2 years ago and it saved me from making an ar*e of things.
Some guys on there had their new shape Civics in bits after a week of owning them!!
Has he got a new shape Civic then Heidi?

The Civic forum I used to frequent was great for this kind of thing, changing bulbs etc.
They had a section on "How to's" and it was brilliant.

To be fair there is an extensive range of "guides" covering most models (except Bravo:confused:) on this forum (second tab from left on homepage). Unfortunately, due to the newness of the 500 there is nothing specific yet written but when you have done the job maybe yours can be the first, hopefully, of many.(y)

I will post in the next couple of weeks (should have car by then) unless someone who already done it pipes up.
In my experience it shouldn't be too difficult unless you have hands like shovels.

Yeah Bravo just doesn't have any yet. 500 doesn't even have a guides section yet.

So if someone has an guide they can do, let me know. I'll see Ben about a guide section and we finally get started with the best guides section of Fiatforum as opposed to only having the best car section of fiatforum. ;)
