The clued-up crims have radio frequency devices that just unlock the doors (and turn off the alarm, if fitted) anyway. My whole street was done a couple of months back.

No-one takes any notice of alarms going off anyway... my neighbours has gone off about 5 times in the last fortnight while he's off on hols... has anyone given a tinkers? I think not! Apart from ringing his elderly mother to come over at 11.30pm to turn it off. And no it wasn't me.
If I hear a alarm go off I always look....neighbourly thing to do!

Would it be different if I said my neighbour was a bit of a n*b? Or is everyone else altruistic and look after their neighbours property no matter how big a t****r they are?

The other side are lovely, I would definitely go if their alarm went off, if they had one, which they don't. Maybe its double standards, but hey, I can't help it, I bear a grudge. :shrug:
I always look too. Nothing to be with being altruistic, more to do with. "Who's ****ing alarm is that this time!"
