Where is the immobiliser on the 500? I had one on my peugeot - there was a keypad that I had to put the code into, this worked very well - even though I hated the car lol

That in your pug was a secondary immboiliers if I'm correct. You would have also still had an electronic one like the 500 and all new cars, which is activated / deactivated through the key (there is a chip in the key forb).
