Is it fiats fault for not having the nuts to carry on with an unpopular colour until people realise how good it looks, or is it our fault for being cheapskates and buying BS white? sorry BN white? LOL

I know! Now I'm able to afford a 500 (after lusting for so long) I am more than miffed that they've got rid of the Punk Grey & YeYe Green. I've even asked if they'll paint a Lounge with the current DIESEL green/brown paint (I don't like the trim etc), but I can imagine what their answer will be... :-(
How long can you wait? I reckon there will be new colours at least by September.

I hope this is true. If I go for another 500 Hatch I'd opt for a different colour, but none of the current ones.

I had the same problem - umm'd and arrgh'd for ages then when ready to order, the lovely green had gone! Have now found one in green and awaiting delivery, but it's a pain in the a**e that the best colours went!
When I was still searching for the green one, I emailed Fiat about posisble future colour changes, and they said there are no immediate plans to change current colours, but that it time, there would be a change (not a massively helpful reply, I know!!).
I kind of wonder if they have been pulled for just a while so that potential buyers 'miss' the choice of the more retro colours, and then they'll reintroduce sometime.
I have a feeling that you will still be able to get a Punk Grey somewhere in the country - there was one in the Worcester Fiat (Hylton) when I found my Ye Ye last Monday. I guess it just depends what sort of spec you want - this one had leather seats and black ambiance which I know sounds a little dark, but it looked hot.

No. But somebody posted an Italian configurator and there were some very different colours, ánd the hint tht we might see some of them here too. At the moment the colour range is quite limited, including only NO as a blue - I don't count Cha - Cha

We wanted a (slightly) used Fiat 500 diesel in cha cha blue, ye ye green or punk grey.
There weren't that many for sale in Denmark so the best deal was the Punk grey 1.3 MJT POP that we ended up buying.
And we love the colour!
And all the people we have talked to about the colour think is a "odd" colour but very nice colour that fits the car and the retro style.
