Has anyone else noticed now poor the range calculator is? It doesn't seem to make any allowance for the actual mpg you are averaging - unlike any other car I've had. It seems around 20% optimistic leading to a nasty shock if you think you had enough for a trip.

When it says the car has no range left, its lying. I drove 35 miles with it showing nothing left without any problems,

Cheers

PD

It says in the manual that the range isn't displayed when the fuel level is less than some value, I'm not sure what the value is but don't want to go to the car now to check the manual :D

Of that I am aware, but if you know the range before it goes to the three bars, you've got that left to go before it maybe runs out.

So range calculations aren't correct.
What about average mpg or L/100km? Are those any better?

How do you get the Range display to show? Mine is only showing my mileage, the time, the usual stuff. Do I have to reset Trip A or change something from the menu?

Lloyd, the first press on the RH stalk button brings up the range display. I can't remember the order of the following key presses but they cycle through Average MPG, instant MPG, Trip A mileage, Trip B mileage, (I have deleted this on my display) Average speed and Time. I have probably missed some but you get the gist.:)
