Dad's 500 was sitting on the drive today and whilst washing up we noticed it looked to have a dent in the roof. However it seems to run the full width of the roof just infront of the arial (looking at the rear of the car).

It looks too straight to be a dent but there are no other 500's near here to check to see if it is just the way the roof is.

The only angle you can see it from is exactly square behind the car, anybody else noticed this?

All Lounge models have this, basically its where Fiat have welded in a strengthening bar to stiffen the roof, because of the glass panel. The welding distorts the roof panel. Ive not seen this crease on any Pops or Sports yet!

I've got the fixed glass roof option on my Sport, but haven't noticed any crease in the roof (yet). Will check when I finish work.

Yup, I've noticed that. its not really a dent or a crease, more a modulation in the curvature of the roof. i noticed it in the garage, the reflection of beams above was equally distorted either side just forward of the aerial.

i have not noticed on my sport either will check and see

Not easy to photograph, but look at the reflection of the aerial, where it bends and bulges.

Interesting, my Sport with the fixed glass roof has exactly the same crease on one side - I assumed something had hit it at some stage.
