I had the Eibach Pro-kit fitted today, apologies for the poor pictures.
First impressions:
Aesthetically I think it improves the look filling the gap that exists as standard between wheel and arches, one of the reasons for me wanting the kit fitted. I think it also makes the wheels look bigger on the car.
In terms of ride and handling, the ride is maybe 5% harsher, hardly anything, bounciness is reduced and the rolly-polly attitude around corners diminished. It feels as though it turns in a little better too. No discernible increase in road noise.
Overall pleased.
Also had Nigel from Angel / N500 Shop do a re-map. I know he is one of a number of people re-mapping and I know views differ wildly on the merits of all. My need was to reduce the trailing throttle jerkiness and driveline shunt which the re-map has succesfully done. The engine revs cleaner and it would appear some of the harshness has been eliminated. Torque would appear to come in earlier and on my very primitive test of a local gradient, I can now maintain 60mph in 6th, whereas it would drop 4mph previously, so again pleased. Economy wise there appears to be improvement too, but will report more accurately in the future.
Hope this helps some of you in your decision making on both !
