If it is bossa nova like mine ,you want a £700 refund for one and you will be not happy not getting what you want!!
I will not be a happy bunny if the colour isn't right, i'll just wait for the correct one to turn up (that'd be so hard turning down the car!)
Here's hoping it's all hunkydory and it's the right colour, right seats ..... thing i'm wondering is how will I know it has ESP?!?

Make sure you ask them to explain every extra on the your 500 and show you them! then you can use your extra sensual persuasion(esp)

We got a call Thurs before Easter to say ours was arriving at the garage on Tues after Easter. However, we went for a nosey on the Saturday and - there was our little 500 on the forecourt for all to see and molest!
Shame we didn't have him for the Easter break .. but funny what 'stories' dealers tell you though!

Thanks for that - but I rang them as I coudn't wait and IT'S ON THE BOAT!!!!!!! I can't wait to see my little beauty.
Heidi, park on a hill and keep your foot on the brake. Put the clutch in and select a gear. When you take your foot off the brake the car will not release the brake for 2 seconds giving you enough time to take up the drive without slipping backwards or forwards depending on what manouvre you are doing. The other things you will have to take on faith as they are not so easy to check.

Fiat do not sit waiting for orders to come in. They plan production around what they think will sell, then adjust as neccessary. There was a lot of interest in Funk White when the car was released and it was programmed for September delivery.
Fiat, and the dealers, obviously worked out that Funk White was going to be popular so ordered a few extra so that when they were sold, providing there wern't too many options specified, then the cars would be available at shorter notice.
I am guessing that Fiat export sales Germany, are behind Fiat UK in the queue, or didn't forward order.
