Still looking for a new car. Do Fiat UK stock 500's? I want a basic 1.2 Lounge spec with no options. Would it have to be a factory order? It is just that I don't want to wait 2 or 3 months for it.

Thanks.

Take a look on autotrader, there are dealers with reasonable stock levels.

The downside is that you have to take what they have, many of the options are factory fit, which according to my dealer is why they struggle to sell stck cars.

Where are you located as Wessex Fiat have a good stck & a good reputation.

As mark has already said, you might be lucky but you may have to go with a colour or spec slightly different to your 1st choice. If its a new order then its a 14/16 week wait. There are a number of larger dealers with stock, for example I know that here in the south west vospers have a number of units available from stock.

Good luck

According to autotrader, Wilsons on the A3 in Surrey near the Tolworth roundabout have brand new 1.2 lounges in stock...

Ye Ye Green for £9,550
2 in Mod Blue for £9,755
Black for £10,175

Also some 1.2 sports.

I ordered a 1.2 Pop, in white with black interior, standard trim with the exception of side protectors. The Fiat dealer looked on their system and found one already on the boat to the UK to my exact spec, picked it up 2 1/2 weeks later.

Wilsons is just on the edge of Epsom town centre next to the Sainsburys/Halfords/Wickes development. Was passing today so popped in to have a look. They've got 6 or 7 in the showroom and one was outside all for sale. Good variety of colours, white, red, yellow, black and orange. I liked them all! Not keen on the big '5' that was on one of the bonnets. The orange is not a bright orange like the Punto, more subtle but very very nice. No sign of any tan leather on show though. One couple looked like they were buying and someone else went out on a test drive. So tempted, but i've only had my 100HP for 10 months so i'll have to give it another 12-18 months I think......

But you'll miss the 100HP! Tempting as it is, I really like the 100HP and this time next year the 500 will still be fresh and maybe a bit easier to come by (I'm not all that fussy about colour/spec so may be able to pick up a bargain, who knows?). Something to look forward to anyway! :)

That's the most difficult 500 to get hold of at the moment.

Stock levels are very good for people looking for a 1.4 16v or a MultiJet, pretty good for those looking for a 1.2 Sport but dreadful for those looking for a 1.2 Pop or Lounge.

The next batch of 1.2 Lounge are due to be built in Week 29 (week after next) so should be with dealers about 4 weeks later if you can wait that long?

if its not sitting on the dockside in bristol jct 19 M5 along with the rest of the vehicles its not in the country (y)

So there are no unsold cars at dealerships then?

yes but like me if you not to bothered about spec and want to save money

I dont know what dealership you went to but both the ones I went to said - before we even started and I told them I had a part ex - that there was absolutley no chance of a discount even on a stock car. I did manage to get £500 above book price for my part ex though.
