Can anyone help me decide whether I should go for the white ambience which I love but am worried I might ruin?!

How do you look after white leather or even better does anyone know if you'll be able to buy replacement covers? I've tried searching the web and asking my local dealer but they didn't seem to know! Has anyone else managed to find out or did you just throw caution to the wind?

Any advice gratefully received :)

Just go for it, it really makes the cars interior. TBH I wouldnt have one with the black, its just a bit too ordinary, unless its black leather and a yellow dashboard that is.
Just keep on top of the cleaning side of things and youll be fine. If youre worried about the seats getting filthy, then you could opt for leather ones:)

I originally really wanted the ivory ambience, it looks brilliant but Mr Snowball pointed out that I never clean my cars and that it would look grubby in the hands of me and our small boy! the decision was taken out of my hands anyway as we really wanted the sport trim and you can't have ivory with that.

The ivory steering wheel on the showroom 500 at the dealership I went to was really filthy, I'm sure some leather wipes would see it looking good....

Ivory by far the best ambience.. says he with black here.

Baby wipes are pretty good at keeping clean, I had a light yellow interior on my last car, 120k miles and kids and it looked really good, just got to keep on the cleaning regime.

You just need to wipe it every week to keep it nice... or wear marigolds!

Or get the kids to wear gloves :D

Yoshi

Ps nowt wrong with black ambience (y)

I've just ordered the ivory ambience with the leather seats ..... hubbie said that more practical with a child as 'wipe clean'. I don't know what he means cus no way our child going to be eating or drinking anything except water in my new car!

Hubbie said he's going to be responsible for cleaning the car as he does the focrap now so I can't really comment on cleaning products as I have no idea how to clean a car.

Thanks everybody - I think I will let my heart rule my head and go for the white.

You're right that the black looks great too - I've just always wanted the white steering wheel since I saw one parked in the street before I even knew what they were and assumed they'd be far too expensive to ever have one of my own. I love all things retro so I think the white interior might be the look for me, if I can ever decide on the rest of the spec!
