Well its home, and almost without a hitch too. Unfortunately the chrome mirror caps werent fitted so have to go back and have them installed in a day or 2, the black plastic looks crap lol! And worse than that, they have decided to start re doing my lane again, so its covered in tar and loose chippings, crawling along at 6mph with the hazards on to get home unscathed. We did as promised though get a full tank of Shell fuel and the proper 500 mats with Ivory trim.
So as a result, ive given it 2 coats of hard wax already focusing on the lower bits that will get chipped and covered in crap.
But more on the car and im really really impressed, the suspension is so quiet over bumps its amazing especially for a tiny budget car, plus the engine pulls well, the brakes are great and it handles city roads and bumps excellently, far better than the GPS I might add, although it is on 14" steels! Comes with a really nice book pack too, way better than the nasty blue vinyl one I got with the Punto!
We went for ESP, Blue and Me with Leather wheel, front fogs, chrome kit, chrome mirrors (nearly), side strips with 500 logo and the colour scheme is obvious.
Some minor points, the new style key feels pretty cheap and the front bumper area especially around the grill is super flimsy, also the rear bumper squeaks a bit as you wash it or lean on it etc but hey, for the money whos complaining really. And yes I did have to wash it with 24 miles on the clock, Colliers valeters are pretty rubbish tbh, and I made them re-clean the interior before we even drove it away.
