Glad you've got one at last Nuova. Can't wait to see the pictures, I bet that combination looks awesome. You'll love the sound of the 1.4 engine, it is just so.... sexy sounding. Now that my engine's loosening up, I'm getting up to 45 MPG, but not yet managed the 54.3 that Fiat claim for the extra-urban cycle.

Id say 45 is about it, which is OK as my 1.2 Panda never bettered 48mpg and that was just 60bhp.

Cool! I love the bright colours, orange will be fab and the 1.4 engine is lovely. Purrs like a kitten

I got my 1.4 in Jive blue, I think? The metalic one anyway.

Now I have just gone over 1000 miles in about 5 weeks then MPG is increasing, normally I get an average of 42 which is a mixture of town and motorway driving, I go in through town and come home on the motorway as it is quiet enough on my way home.

My total commute is about 33 miles per day.

As for fun, I certainly notice the difference in the 1.4 over the 1.2 panda I had before, although an SLK was inbetween! The other day I was overtaking a van at 50mph and as there wasnt that much space, decided to get a move on and went into third, revs up to 5,500 and then into 4th and then looked at the speedo and was over 70mph!

It is great fun on the country roads with the sport button pressed and the economy doesnt drop by that much.

I can understand buying one there and then, I only waited a week as I wanted the 1.4 and got the blue instead of the white, did want the leather but wallet ruled the head.

LOL, it was perfect when I saw it so na na Cant believe they moved it so fast. The Salisbury guys are amazed by it, they reckon its the best retro combination you could do, and have taken loads of photos to show customers

Glad it's going well at last Nuova The Orange & Tan combination sounds lush, i always pick the orange when i start playing with the configurator, dreaming i have money that i don't!

Is the Fiat UK involvement as a result of your letter to the Director or did you phone them in the end?

I only posted the letter to the MD today, as I wanted to update him re having another car etc. CS have agreed to pay £200 because I asked them too on Monday No hesitation, he said yes He feels I should try and get SGM to compensate but neither I nor he can get on with them, so maybe the MD could!
Back to happy things, just waiting for insurance to come through and my 1k back from the nasty lot at SGM I might just go to Salisbury tommorow for some pics...

Ah i see. It's good CS agreed to pay the £200, but that should have been a dead cert given what you've experienced. Will be wicked to see some pics of it, especially the interior, as the configurator sounds a little bit out with colours etc. It says alot if even CS can't get on with SGM, think they should take the franchise away if that's possible.
