we had a leaky water pump on a fire engine causing air to circulate as when the engine was running it actually sucked air in rather than letting water out and when it was stopped it let out maybe a tea spoon or so of water very weird
quick bit of resealing of the pump and that was solved
but other than that and maybe a leak as the beast suggests nothing much else
erm no but it may cause an excess of combustion gasses in the inlet manifold after some low speed driving and may affect engine running at idle also pulling away in traffic may be lumpy
my 500 is fine. But this comes from a conversation I had where persons head gasket appeared to fail but breather pipe was blocked. This was cleaned and there was some "additive" put in engine which sorted the problem. Dont know much more. Not much info but I'm no mechanic.

if a head gasket failed and the oil mixed with water then the resulting gunk could contribute to blocking the breather pipe and the adative was probably leak stop or something
people use this stuff to no avail in an attempt to seal leaky head gaskets it never works combustion always wins
