Styling White or black ambience?

Ivory is wonderfull. Especialy for the lighter colors (and red).

My Calypso orange sport get an black interior, because its a sport i also had an option for brown (!) leather. Ivory was not possible, and i think it doesn't look nice with orange.

Hi all, first post, been reading this forum as a guest for a while now.

I've set my heart and my bank account on a 500. I've removed lots of cars from my list: the Suzuki Swift, Toyota Yaris, Dihatsu Sirion, Honda Jazz, Skoda Fabia, Citroen C2, for a number of reasons. The 500's style won me over.
Anyway, i'm really looking hard at the Crossover Black, with Red leather seats, but cant decide on the ambience. As some have said the black ambience does make it looks a little too much like other cars. But, here is my question, does the ivory and black dash with red leather look like to much of a mismatch/too confused?

Kj2000 my own personal preference with your spec would be the black ambiance . But the beauty of this car is that there are so few combinations that don't work that you are guaranteed it will look good regardless of what you choose. :)

I also think black is the best choice in these. Red Leather is great with a black car. If you choose for ivory your atention goes to the white dash and also to the red leather, thats to much. If you choose for the sport you dont have a choice.

Ivory is wonderfull in some combination but not in yours.

No, the ivory with tan leather and orange looks amazing... thats why I bought mine. Its simply stunning in the flesh. Its like cream on tomato soup:)

I've never seen a black 500 ambience (in the original car) and all the new 500's in Italy this summer were white... In black, to me, it loses it's raison d'etre..

As for the fake tan, I wash my hands after use as per instruction on tube to stop nails and cuticles going brown so no problem (well, I AM Italian) :ROFLMAO:

I have already bought the ivory leather gear knob to replace the original, to avoid any Black!

mine is a black car with the black ambiance and brown/grey seats

looks right IMO, although I was initially sceptical

depends on look you are after, it is great that there are so many options, but with choce also comes the possibility to create a bit of a mis-match

mine was already chosen as I bought 'pre-enjoyed'

I nearly ended up getting my ambience in black due to lack of availability in Ivory, but then the woman at the dealership found me an Ivory one because I think it looks very, very classy. (y)

I will also be ordering an Ivory leather gear knob.

we initially wanted ivory but worried it would get dirty so thought we'd go for black, but ended up with ivory as it looks so classic. Also love the cloth seats as they are stitched in a way that makes them look quite retro and that is the look I want for my 500. we have changed the alloys, but stuck to 15" for the same reason.

Booklady,

I share your choice, Ivory in the Orange any day of the week..... however,
in the funk white - black - sorry!

fair enough! We weren't keen on ivory in the BN white actually, made the ivory look a bit off white for us. But isn't great that you get a choice! Most cars just come with a wheel and a dashboard!!

Surely its not a case of right or wrong with the ambience?
Its all down to what each individual feels looks the part and as long as they like it thats all that matters.
Its like the cars colour aswell dont know why people persist in saying I dont like this or I dont like that, who cares? its not your car so you dont have to live with it.
