The ESP in these cars is in my opinion one of the best set ups, obviously most cars have Bosch ESP called by whatever name, but it doesnt cut in too soon or mess about too much, but when you really need it, and ive had some dangerous emergency action to take in mine, in particular on a French Autoroute when a lorry overturned in high winds, it rescues you superbly, its like a guiding hand taking the car through the problem area and taking you to safety, its amazing.

The Renault CSV system on the other hand, is appauling, you cant pull off in rain properly, it leaves you with no power in the middle of a junction because it thinks its cleverer than you and 'knows' if the wheels will spin, and also it allows the car to understeer way too much before catching it.

yes people say it's all the same system but manufacturers have a huge say in how and when it will alter what your doing bosch work closely with every car maker to tailer it to there needs so it can be drastically different from one to the next

the only experience i have of the system is the traction control on both petrol turbo bravo and a diesel 130 gp and i must say i liked it it did not cut the engine down atall that i noticed and it did allow what felt to me like a bit a wheel slip but in both cases they set of like a shuttle it's the weirdest feeling like the wheels are glued to the road

i drove a toyota once and found the abs cutting in every time i braked really was very annoying not sure if it was to do with the lack of front end grip or just bad system setup
