Reverse Parking Sensors

I know they are 143.94 on the Fiat website, just wondered how much they would cost fitted by Fiat in Pasodoble Red...does anyone know?

Cheers,
Si

It is small I agree, but its hard to judge from the inside, it feels a lot bigger, esp when your used to a 'flat back' Cinq!

Re: Reverse Parking Sensors

Most likely an aftermarket fit wouldn't be in your body colour.

I think these sensors do spoil the look of any car's bottom, I think I'd prefer my bottom smooth without any pimples even with the risk of getting an occasional tap!

Prices vary from one dealership to the next, but you shouldn't pay more than 250.

If your dealership want more than that shop around for a local independant that fits them.

They would be if they were painted!

Re: Reverse Parking Sensors

I've ordered parking sensors factory fit though, I think the cost was 200. C pillars are quite large and rear visibility is compromised, therefore, and despite the 500's diminutive proportions, I don't think fitting them is entirely superfluous.

And I don't mind the look of them.

Hope they work though!!!

How long does it usually take for them to be fitted/How long can I expect not to have my car? I know it can vary from dealer to dealer, just a rough estimate would be fine.

Ta,
Si

Assuming they paint the sensors beforehand (sounds obvious, but some don't! ) it should take them no more than a couple of hours to fit them, often much less.

That will be handy to know when there are 3 adults in the back of the 500 destroying rear visibility and and making pulling away on that hill in a 1.2 that little bit trickier with out hill holder when you are on your road trip through athens wondering if you are on the correct road because the idiot in the passenger seat can't read a map properly.
