Has anyone compared 205 with 195 width tyres (on any size rim)?

The wheels I have acquired are 6.5x15, so the usual 185s will be too narrow to seat properly.

I have measured it up and it seems either 205 or 195 will be fine in theory.

205/50/15 is closer to the standard 185/55/15 gearing than 195/50/15, so at first appears more attractive as it would also give more grip.

However, the increase in unsprung weight and potentially more tramlining might be a turn off.

Thoughts?

Youll need the 205s... Ive got 195s on my VW, with a 6" rim and tbh 195s on a 6 1/2 will look a bit skinny.
