Hello,

Went up to look at some 500s last night at the local dealership having researched a lot online.

Has to be 1.4, sport, and black or white (undecided as it was dark!). Like the look of the 16" wheels but not a dealbreaker.

They have a white with the 16s (no price on it) inside, a white with 15s at £10700 and a black one outside with 15s but also a sport .

What sort of deal have people been getting on pre-reg`d cars from dealers? Only one of the 10 sitting outside was sold.

Are there any Must Haves spec wise? Standard spec seemed pretty good looking at the lists on the windows of the cars.

I got free 16" wheel upgrade (multispokes), full tank of juice and carpet mats - all on a new car though, so can't speak about pre-reg.

Thats good to know; I would assume that if they are dealing on new cars then used/pre-reg should be even better.

I guess from your name you are a Lotus owner? (S1 Exige here!)

I was, until 1st March Had it since new (25/9/1999)!

Hadn't been using it much recently though (due to having 2 small kids) and have a Discovery 3 as family transport. So, swapped the wife's Alfa and the Lotus for a new 911 C2S Cabriolet. It's no Lotus but the best alternative that seats 4
