I have a Blaupunkt sub which I intend to put into the 500 via speaker level connection. Any help would be appreciated on identifying the colours of the wires for the speaker connections at the headunit!

I can't offer any help but let me know how you get on as I would like to install an under seat sub.

Does the 500 head unit have a standard ISO connector? If so, are not all ISO connector pin outs the same?

Just a thought.

I am using the Blaupunkt one which has its own remote turn off. I had intended to tap into one of the rear speakers as it only requires one to be connected.

I didn't really want to start pulling the headunit out!
