I'm not having much luck. Someone damaged my car today while it was parked up. Probably a lorry or trailer. Drivers door and back panel are scraped and creased. It's calypso orange, what's the chance of getting a good paint match? Well I suppose the honeymoon period is well and truly over now thanks to some B******.

omg it amazes me how people can do that and not leave a note or tell you

any pictures? sounds quite extensive damage

i should think any good paint shop will get it perfect but unfortunately to get a good finish with the back panel being scraped an all it's guna be a big paint job

is it guna be an insurance claim or do it yourself job

Thanks for the shoulders to cry on. I will contact my insurance company today and enquire about bodyshops. photos in gallery

'Ouch' I had a similar scrape on my swift but it was more on the back corner! took it to a bodyshop and cost £499, did it on the insurance so had to pay the first 100, dont know yet how much it has affected my premium, but you couldnt see where the damage had been when they finished and they gave it a valet inside and out!! Hope you can get it sorted out, I know how gutting it feels!!

going to cost about £1100 to repair. Repairer doesn't want to replace panels on such a new car. He says he should be able to repair damage and get a proper paint match. Lets hope he's right!!
I saw a yellow Pop today and spoke to the enthusiastic young girl owner. She stressed that I was to get my car repaired!!! Nice. Revives the feel good factor.

Life's a bitch sometimes......

I was hoping to see your car out on the roads of county Antrim at some point, but I guess its going to be in the body shop for a bit.

Still waiting for ours, apparently it is now in the UK, have only seen one other on the road a white Pop.

putting claim through insurance.I could not afford to pay for the repairs. I have protected no claims anyhow. Just going to use local bodyshop as he was recommended by mechanic friend. Should be going in Mon 21 April.
