this is how is see my baby! this is the most exciting thing i've done in ages, gonna trade the stilo and now that i have enough money gonna order the new 500.

1.2 sport,
bossanovawhite,
black seats (wish i could afford leather but hey ho),
2tone sport wheels,
the chequered roof and the flag stipe,
interscope, esp, and the split seats+headrests, cuz i thought it was very dangerous for my rear passengers to travel without a headrest, and i'm surprised it could get 5 ncap stars without them as standard!

going from a 1.6 to a 1.2 do you reckon the engine will still have that punchy feeling? obvs the 500 is a lot lighter than the stilo, about 300kg, so will have to see on the test drive. other than that, very excited about my new obsession!:D

Bare in mind me and Mark have over 1000 (in Marks case over 2000) miles on the clock, so they will be a tad looser. Let it warm up and give it some welly and it's a right hoot in 2nd and 3rd gear ;) Sounds great too. It growls! :D

Your car looks great......tho I think the chrome kit might be a good addition, as I think it adds a fair bit to the overall look of the car  and its not too expensive.

I've driven all 3 motors and the one that made me smile the most was the 1.2!

Good luck n enjoy the forum

Yoshi:wave:

As already said the 1.2 is a little gem. I have not had the pleasure of driving one that has already loosened up but even when they are brand new they are great little motors.

I kinda agree about not liking the 2 lots of stickers except I'd drop the stripe and keep the roof. But isn't that the great thing about this car? :D

Absolutely! Having the two different style of stickers doesn't give a very coheisive look, but it's all down to individual tastes and the great thing about the online configurator is you can try many different looks/themes before you buy. Plus as they're only stickers you can always add/remove them as and when you want (y)

Would tend to agree, the stripes have been done to death, where as the roof is'nt an option you tend too see to much of. But as previously said... theres's just too many damn options.....arghhhhhh .

Yoshi :spin:

Lose all the stickers and don't add the chrome. Chrome can work well on darker colours, but not with the added bars IMHO. Add the little flags though. Cute.
I love the white and it would have been my choice, until I saw the yellow.
Then again....
It's your call: have fun, and stickers are not, as has been mentioned, irreversible.

i just ordered a car!!!!

thanks for the welcomes to the 500 section

there was a yellow one in the showroom, very tempting, but i decided to stick to my guns, and i've gone for white and both sets of stickers, no chrome only because i'm personally not a fan, but colours, stickers etc are all personal, and like the Beast said, that is what is so great about this car!

the test drive was fantastic! :woot:

i've only ever driven 1.6 size engines so i did notice that it had 69hp, but it sure was enough, i beat a merc off the lights!

soooo chuckable into bends! not bad on the motorway either. the steering wheel is good to hold, much better design than the plastic wheel in the stilo.

had to do an emergency stop when some joker pulled out on a bend, but the car dealt with it great, was just that i stalled:eek:, good brake test though

now i've just got to try an contain my excitement for a few weeks!:D:D get my build week on tues!

i'm feeling very lucky

ordered week 14, a new order, and it's going to be built week 20! so i'll be in it a couple of weeks after that!

so thats about a 9-10 week wait. it's great but i feel awful for all those people on here that have ordered in december and are still waiting/only just got it:(

seeing more and more of them on the road too & happy knowing i'll be joining their ranks soon!

will this be one of the first with interscope too?

Hi beepy
Enthusiasm is good!

The 500 is definateley a car to get excited about as you can read on these pages...............can already feel a scene growing quickly.

Should be a FUN summer.
Noticing a few more cars filtering through onto the road now - give it a months and we'll be everywhere.

By the way, our 1.2 has done 550 miles now and seems to be getting looser every time out, very nippy and yet still quite refined. Fuel economy is also great and improving.
2 weeks in and loving it!

Good luck and go for the graphics....you're only young once.:D

will be great if a scene does develop because of this car, i'm sure it will happen, i mean it's a car that's full of character, it deserves a following.
