Mine was first named BJ because of the unfortunate number plate:eek: (still got friends who like to call it rude names:mad:), now gets called Benny (or should that be Benni with an i ?)

Mine is called LUCIANO (y)

. . . A bit of FUN arranged by our dealer, PDH in Hassocks. They had a list of Italian names, girls AND boys to choose from - then gave out a sticker for the boot and a matching keyring.

It is nice when you actually see another PDH car with its name on its bum!

Hi all,
First post on the forum, and I thought this was the most important piece of information to share ;)

Mine is called Giuseppi!

He was named by me the day I ordered him, in February, and by the time he arrived in June the name was thoroughly embedded into our family group. I notice there is a debate about whether the cars are male or female, but surely there has to be cars of both sexes, or how would be get new 500s?! ;)

Giuseppi: White 1.2 lounge with white interior and full opening roof!

Hi

We picked up our 500 on Thursday, 18th Sept 2008, afternoon.
I've used to go to work a couple of times and found it does a reasonable MPG so far.

Why Humphrey?

My youngest son came into the kitchen, after having a look around the car, and exclaimed to my wife, " It's bogey colour ".

I suppose we could have gone for Fungus, but we both made the connection with Humphrey Bogart so it seems to have stuck.

I'm quite pleased with the choice of colour etc, while on the way home from work for the second time saw another ye ye going in the other direction.

The only thing I may talk to the dealer about is the difference in shade between the metal bonnet and the plastic bumper, I'll put up pictures so you can see .

So far so good .

My 500 is called Bella. It was a name I gave to the one I configered on the Fiat website when I was only dreaming of owning one. It only seemed right that she was named Bella when my dreams became reality!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm naming mine Bella too!!
I thought it sounded like a nice Italian name, and its my old dogs name :)
