I'm just in need of some advice really...

My dealer told me that my 500 is due to arrive in the UK tomorrow and I was wondering, for those who have their 500s, how long it took between it arriving in the UK and you picking it up...

I'm so anxious, pics on flickr, nf500 and vids on youtube are not enough to keep my excitement down lol

Thanks ;)

flickr nf500 youtube is jus not enough! am tooo excited. im not sure exactly how long it takes, however i know my car was on a boat last week and is expected in dealers on thursday. 2 weeks altogether then. so as yours is off the boat into the uk, i would say about 1 week to your dealers. but this is if all goes smoothly and there are no problems or delays offloading your car into docks and then onto transporter to your dealer.
ps. these 2 sites are really good to feed your addiction,

We're in the same boat , (or maybe our 500s are in the same boat at sea). Our dealer told me Friday before last that our 500 is on the high seas, but Friday gone he still didn't know when it'd arrive with them. SURELY it's gotta be any day/week now.

I'm part-exchanging an 04 Megane for the 500. The road tax and MOT expire at the end of March, and it's also due its 36000 mile service. If our 500 arrives before the end of March am I still obliged to to have it MOT'd, taxed and serviced, albeit earlier? Originally out dealer said the 500 would arrive about mid April, so the Megane would've been taxed, Mot'd and serviced at the date of exchange. Could the dealer reduce the pt ex value of my megane because the 500 has arrived earlier and I'm pt-exing it with only a few days left on the MOT and road tax?

No.

Your car is worth more in March than it will be in April, so part-exchanging it early (even with very little MOT or tax left) makes no difference.

Unless they specifically told you that the p/x offer was based on the car having a new MOT and the next service done they can't offer you less.

Fiat quote 10-14 days from arrival in the UK to arrival at the dealership.

At the moment sold 500s are being prioritised, so they are being delivered in 7-10 days, but bear in mind there will be no deliveries on Friday or Monday due to the Easter break :(

If all goes well you should be in your car by the weekend after Easter
