Saw a white one parked at Woollahra - couldn't believe my freaking eyes!

I used to do that to other GPs but I realised I could be arrested for being a public nuisance, so I stopped :D

oOoO.. saw another white one today with cute Italian stripes down the middle - it was the old 500 though, not the new one. It was funny cos as the lights went green, all the cars sped past it while the poor bugger was obviously struggling to get into second gear :D

That's Chacha Azure

I had a feeling that was the colour, but it didn't quite look the same on the website as it does in the flesh.

I didn't know you're allowed to take photos at a dealership

:p

I want to test drive it. Coming to Syd this evening.

If I go to Zigame in Melbourne, I will test drive OTHER Italian cars! :yuck:

I took the 500 Sport for a short drive on the weekend. First impressions is that it feels very solid on the road for a car of it's size. The handling seems to be good, I drove it around with the Sport mode all the time. The engine really needs to be revved to give it's best, and it's quite noisy for a new car. It's a rorty sounding thing, but unfortunately it doesn't sound like Fiat engines of old. The gear shift of the 6 speed is nice and smooth.

It's quite roomy for a small car. Rear space is actually quite good for it's size, however the rear headroom is marginal. And despite the hard plastics, the interior looks well bolted together.

Overall it's a nice little car that could do with a little more herbs and smaller price tag, at least in Australia. Hard to believe that the 500 Sport is actually more expensive than the GP Sport TJet. Given it's cutesy looks, it will probably sell well here anyway, if the BMW Mini is any guide.
