I tried to get stuff thrown in when I was ordering but I just an excuse of 'It's a limited edition car and Fiat won't let us give you any freebies.'

I tried to, got absolutely no where. Wouldnt throw in anything

no not got my 500 yet. mid march.
but the freebies have been agreed verbally and more importantly in writing so all is good - cant do much with mats/coat hanger/key fob till i get the car anyway.
i know the general look of things is that dealers cannot knock a penny of the car w/o consequences from italy but that just means they need to give you a good deal in some other way. freebie dealer options always bring a smile to anyone's face.
