trying to get my name down on one want the SS version.

Supossedly a dealer in London is getting 2 punto abarths in soon? and will be the first to have the abarth 500?

The whole Abarth thing is a joke, the mags were reviewing the GP Abarth months back but still no sign of it being sold here officially. The Uk is very low down the list for Abarth, your best bet for RHD is to import from Ireland.

Fiat haven't actually announced who or where the Abarth dealerships are going to be yet, so I don't see how they can claim that?

Surely the negative stories from people on here that ordered regular 500s early but still didn't get one of the first cars should tell you that doing that is a waste of time?

here are some proper Abarths, not chavie or OTT at all...

Im one of those people!!!!! My car arrives today actually, just had the dealer on the blower!!

I just want an abarth, simple as that. Aint got time for a mini john cooper works or owt'

i aint a chav and i hate chavs but i think they did well with the front grill. if you look back at the original 500 abarth from the 60s, they also have a big square looking tub air vent at the front. so i like how they emplimented that with the new 1:). stil looks very similar to the original but more modern. i think the abarth looks ace:). in my oppinion the 500 is a really cool car but the basic models are abit too girly. i think the abarth wil be for all blokes who aint too keen on the standard 500.the abarth looks more of a blokes car:). in my oppinion also looks way better than the mini cooper s:D

I agree, i think you're right about the original Abarth and its front air dam and how this is more masculine than the normal 500. Also agree that it's nicer than a Mini, however, it must be said, a horse's arse is better looking than a Mini Cooper S.

the front air dam you refer to on Abarths were only fitted to the race cars, the Abarth road cars are in the pics above, just a normal 500 with flared arches, wheels and a couple of other bits. Subtle is the key:) Either that or Im a girl!

I guess I am going to have to come to terms with the fact I am NOT Fiat's target market for the Abarth, falling outside of the age demographic! However, my ideal option would be with the bodykit and interior as an Abarth only option, or even the standard body and standard sport interior as a no cost option with just the Abarth badge on the front and back as the differentiation. Most would be supplied with the bodykit for sure, but the option would be nice.

Cheers
