I know this is quite a big thing on here with people trying to guess build times and delivery dates!

is it possible that one of you nice friendly dealers out there can give any dates on deliverys for builds.

please please please (y)
 
well the dealers out there seem to be telling ppl the build week

i.e mine is a week 8 and thanks to you on previous threads i know it will be here around the 17th march with collection about a week later.

just thought it might be helpful for people to have a list of something along the lines of

week 8 arriving 17 march

and so on

dont know if thats possible for you to do :worship:
 
O.K, I'm with you now. That's dead easy.

Currently, cars are arriving in the UK almost exactly three weeks after they are built so:

Week 5 Build - UK Arrival week-commencing 18th February
Week 6 Build - UK Arrival week-commencing 25th February
Week 7 Build - UK Arrival week-commencing 3rd March
Week 8 Build - UK Arrival week-commencing 10th March
Week 9 Build - UK Arrival week-commencing 17th March
Week 10 Build - UK Arrival week-commencing 24th March
Week 11 Build - UK Arrival week-commencing 31st March
Week 12 Build - UK Arrival week-commencing 7th April

etc, etc, etc...

This list is in no way set in stone, as some cars are arriving more quickly, but should give people a good idea of the longest it should take for their car to arrive.

I have finally managed to speak to someone at my dealership who gives a crap. After placing my order in Dec I had expected a delivery date of mid March.
I have been badgering my dealer to give me updates on the order progress without any success. It turn out that he has now left and low and behold the additions to my order I had thought were included haven’t been added and the car isn’t at status 16 as I had been told.
Luckily (not) the status of the car is 13 light variability so I’ve been able to add them but the car has a build date of week 11 and likely not be with me until April.
Im a little annoyed as it will have taken Fiat 4 1/2month to get me a car by this time.

A little extra info from the dealer is that if you miss the UK production slot there is little chance that you will get a new car until after the Europeans have had there’s built and they are already at the 6month waiting stage.

When you ordered your car has absolutely no connection whatsoever to when it will be built. That will be dictated by how many cars your dealership has been allocated, how many of those they have already sold, and what options you have specified.

As sikersh has said, talk to your dealership, as they are they only people that can answer that question.
 
just spoke to my dealer and my cars been built and is expected in the UK around the 6th march. dealer also said that they can usually turn a car around in 48hrs. so i'm prob looking at around mid-march when i can pick it up :D
