Hi all I just thought I would share this with anyone wanting these alloys. I called in the york fiat dealer this morning and he showed me a statement he got yesterday from fiat saying anyone wanting these alloys will delay the car order until september it doesn't affect us but I thought you might like to know. Nuovapanda I know you will read this, Linda has changed her mind and added the side strips to her car, I know I prefer it without but then I really like them as well [can you make any sense of that statement] She feels it will add protection for door bangs and she loves the chrome 500 badge as well.

Which alloys are those? the 16 inch multi's?

The 421 are the 7 spoke 16inch alloys with diamond shape
The 439 are the 5 spoke two colour 15 inch sport alloys with diamond shape

Im getting the diamond ones on mine. Its in the country as we speak. This delay must be on orders placed from now ???

Buddy system with sections of the lot, and and the guy who "helps" me with our section had to pick up a V5 from a department in Glasgow after 2 handovers.

Sneaky sod.

Here's the information referred to by andy armitage in the first post, taken from the February Fiat 500 Logistics Bulletin issued on 8th February:

Alloy Wheels
Option 420 (16” Sport) available from April production.
Options 421 & 439 not available until September production.
Option 435 (16” Alloys) no longer a delay in ordering these.

We are still waiting to hear what wheels were coming on the car we are buying, we were hoping 439's but not sure. Presumably if 439's aren't available on a build they won't be available through parts either?

I do like the 420's as well so might plump for those. Need to give the dealer a call in the morning.

Perhaps we could post pics and codes, see seperate thread.
